WHICH OFFICE COPIER IS BEST?

First Some Copier History

In 1938 Chester Carlson invented a crude copier process.  However the big business firms at the time turned down the opportunity to manufacture and market the machine.  Mr. Carlson pressed on and improved his copier process and in 1947 a firm took him up on making it available in the marketplace.  They named the firm Xerox.  The copier became a big hit and productivity boost for businesses.

It still is today - in fact, the copier is an office staple these days, as it's hard to run a business without one.  Now there are more than two dozen major firms making copiers ... each claiming to offer the best.

Copiers Do Many Things -- So How to Know Which is Best?

The fastest office copier in the world (so far) makes 150 copies per minute.  Others don't offer quite that speed, but hold claim to higher print quality, or perhaps other functions such as: collating, printing two sides, scanning, emailing, and the list goes on to include multiple paper sizes, folding, finishing and other time-saving functions.

How are you to choose between all the companies that each have multiple copier models in varying prices with such a staggering array of functions?  How are you to know which is the best copier?
